Collage of Conviction

We will eagerly consume,
whatever fills the space
where you made room
and changed the face.

Art can be like that
when the final phase
shows where we're at,
ripe for the next craze.

Bid for it, stop and shop,
have it now, today,
de rigueur, 'Father of Pop',
so sad you could not stay.

  1. I never knew of this man until his death. Sadly strange that the importance of us is often hidden until we are gone.

  2. HyperCRYPTICal - It usually takes a big event to briefly place us in the spotlight. There's no bigger event that death, I guess.
